“Praying Women” by Sheila Walsh was an eye-opening book for me!  I have learned so much more about prayer.  Sheila shared so many great quotes and ideas about this subject.  I am so glad I read this book.  It has truly changed my life.

My favorite quote from the book was, “Everything without God is nothing.  Nothing with God is everything.”  I love this quote.  It’s something I will try to hold onto for everything in life.  Sheila also talks about having a fighting verse.  I love this, also!  I never thought about this, but since then, I have claimed a fighting verse.

I definitely recommend this book to every woman out there.  Sometimes prayer is hard, but Sheila Walsh shows how prayer doesn’t have to be hard.  She gives some very good pointers and insight into prayer and how to apply it to our prayer lives.  Prayer is very important, and it does work!

Novel Threat by Traci Hunter Abramson

 I really enjoyed this book by Traci Abramson.  I believe this is my favorite by Traci Abramson.  The chemistry between Brandon and Kimber was wonderful!  This book kept me guessing until the very end.  It had so many twists and turns throughout it.  I had a hard time putting this book down.  I highly recommend this book.   “Hide and Seek” by Christy Barritt was a fantastic start to the Lantern Beach Guardians series.   It was so great to revisit Police Chief Cassidy Chambers.   She has become a favorite of mine in some of Christy Barritt’s other novels.   This book starts off with a huge mystery.   A young girl is found on the beach and to make matters worse, she can’t speak!   So Cassidy, along with her husband Ty, and her police force are trying to figure out the mystery.   This mystery really had me dumbfounded.   I had no idea what the ending was going to be. I have never read a Christy Barritt book that I haven’t loved.   I highly recommend all her books.   Her books are full of suspense and mystery, yet are extremely clean. I received this book from the author for my honest opinion.
