Wow!  "Trace of Doubt" by DiAnn Mills was an excellent read!  This book had me hooked from the first page and continued until the last.   This book is written in the first person point of view, which is my favorite style.  This novel was different than most of the suspense novels I've read by DiAnn Mills.  She focused more on the why instead of the who.  I liked this.  You can tell that the author spent a lot of time researching her subjects. I highly recommend this book and all of DiAnn Mills romantic suspense novels.  You won't be disappointed! I received this book from the publisher through NetGalley for my honest opinion.
“Hide and Seek” by Christy Barritt was a fantastic start to the Lantern Beach Guardians series.   It was so great to revisit Police Chief Cassidy Chambers.   She has become a favorite of mine in some of Christy Barritt’s other novels.   This book starts off with a huge mystery.   A young girl is found on the beach and to make matters worse, she can’t speak!   So Cassidy, along with her husband Ty, and her police force are trying to figure out the mystery.   This mystery really had me dumbfounded.   I had no idea what the ending was going to be. I have never read a Christy Barritt book that I haven’t loved.   I highly recommend all her books.   Her books are full of suspense and mystery, yet are extremely clean. I received this book from the author for my honest opinion.
“Power Play” by Rachel Dylan is a fantastic read!   This is the third and final book in the Capital Intrigue series.   This was a great read to end the series.   Rachel Dylan continues to be one of my all-time favorite romantic suspense authors. I loved this series!   It follows three best friends who went to law school together.   They have remained best friends.   These characters were so well developed and likeable.   They were characters that make you feel like you’re in their story and one of them! This story follows Vivian Steele.   She witnesses two ambassador’s collapse.   Her, along with a Diplomatic Security Service agent, Jacob Cruz, try to figure out what really happened.   This mystery brings up some past event that happened to Viv. I highly recommend this book and all of Rachel Dylan’s books.   You won’t be disappointed!   Her books are always good, clean and keep you reading to see what happens next!...
