“The Cost of Betrayal” by Dee Henderson, Dani Pettrey and Lynette Eason was a fantastic read!   I already knew it was going to be since three of my all-time favorite authors are who wrote this book!   I loved the last one that these authors teamed up in, and I loved this one just as much, if not more. The first novella is by Dee Henderson.   It has some familiar characters from some of her previous books, Ann and Paul.   Ann comes across a woman who has been in jail for six years and is serving a twenty year sentence.   Ann believes she is innocent, so this story centers around that. The second novella is by Dani Pettrey.   The setting for this one is on an island. Tennyson Kent is trapped from the mainland during a storm surge.   There are some mysterious things happening.   It’s up to her and a previous boyfriend to try to find the murderer.   This one had a twist.   I didn’t expect the ending! The last novella is by Lynet...
“Tell Her No Lies” by Kelly Irvin was a good romantic suspense read.   This was the first book I’ve read by her, and I look forward to reading more.   This story centers around Nina Fischer.   Nina and her sister were adopted years ago by their uncle.   Life is good for them until their uncle is found murdered in his own house.   Nina is the one who finds him.   Through trying to find out who murdered him, Nina uncovers some secrets that her uncle was keeping. This book had me guessing in many parts and it had some twists and turns.   I was surprised at how it ended. If you like to read good, clean, romantic-suspense novels, you would like this one. I received a complimentary copy of this book from Thomas Nelson through NetGalley.   Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
“I’d Rather Be Reading” by Anne Boegel was a delightful read!   I really had no idea what this book would be like, but I really enjoyed it. It was a very light read and one that can be read very quickly, in a matter of hours. Anne Boegel talked about books and readers.   There were so many parts of this book that I thought that is me!   I loved how I could identify with so many topics she covered.   I highly recommend this book for heavy or light readers.   This book was a great refreshing read. I received this book from Baker Books for my honest opinion.
“A Secret to Die For” by Lisa Harris was a great read just like all her other books!   Lisa continues to be one of my favorite inspirational suspense authors.   Her books keep you on the edge of your seat and they always feel like you are actually living in one of her stories. This book centers around Grace Callahan, a psychologist.   One of Grace’s clients is found murdered and the clues he leaves behind center on Grace.   The detective on the case happens to be an old friend of Grace’s.   There are so many twists and turns as Nate and Grace try to find out what really happened to Grace’s client. If you like good, clean, edge of your seat suspense novels, you will love this book.   I definitely recommend it! I received this book from the publisher through NetGalley for my honest opinion.
