I really enjoyed “Sensitive and Strong” by Denise J. Hughes and Cheri Gregory. I never realized that I was an HSP (Highly Sensitive Person), but after reading this book, I can see so much of myself. It was really neat to have so many “that’s me” moments! Denise and Cheri do such a great job in explaining a lot of characteristics of HSP’s and also showing how we can improve ourselves. One of my favorite quotes in the book is, “As an HSP, you are like a custom-made sound board with a unique configuration of sliders on myriad channels, and your environment plays a key factor in determining where the “slider” will land at a given point in time.” This helped me really understand myself, as sometimes I feel like I am one thing and other times, I feel like I am something else. Sometimes we do have to adapt to our environment. This book really helped me to see areas in my own life that I need to work on. I believe a really good se...

“One Final Breath” by Lynn Blackburn was an excellent read! This is the third book in the Dive Series. I have been looking forward to this next book, and it didn’t disappoint just like the first two. Lynn Blackburn is definitely one of my favorite authors. I have loved everything she’s written. This book follows Gabe Chavez and Anissa Bell. When they discover a teenage boy that has been shot in the water, they team up to find out what really happened. This investigation, in turn, brings up a lot of Gabe’s and Anissa’s pasts. I highly recommend this book and the whole Dive Team series. It has suspense, romance and a little twist all thrown in. I received this book from the publisher through NetGalley for my honest opinion.

I absolutely loved “Pray Big Things” by Julia Jeffress Sadler! The author is wise beyond her years. There were so many tidbits of information in this book. I have highlighted so many parts of this book! Julia Jeffress Sadler and her husband experienced a lot of heartache as they tried to have children. Julia and her husband started praying bold prayers, and God blessed them with triplets! I’ve always known we were supposed to take everything to God and pray big things, but I don’t really do that most of the time. This book really encouraged me to start doing this. I need to pray big things to God! This book was one of the most encouraging books I’ve read all year. I definitely recommend this book to everyone! Julia’s writing is full of wisdom yet very easy to read and understand. I received this book from Baker Books for my honest opinion.

“Always Look Twice” is another great read by Elizabeth Goddard! I really loved the first book in this series, but I think I loved this one even more! I was hooked from the first page until the last. There was a twist in this book, also. I didn’t see the ending at all. This book follows Harper Reynolds. Harper is a crime scene photographer, but she has taken a break for a more peaceful life. But as she is taking photographs of nature, she witnesses a crime. As she is running away, she drops her camera, which has the picture of the murderer. Heath McKade is a former Green Beret and an old childhood friend of Harper’s. He comes along to help Harper find who the murderer is. There is a lot of suspense and a little romance thrown into this book to make it a great read! Elizabeth Goddard is one of my favorite authors. If you enjoy good, clean, romantic suspense fiction, you will definitely enjoy this book. ...
