"Stratagem" by Robin Caroll is a suspense-filled read.  If you enjoy clean, mysteries, you will enjoy this book.  This book has a slight twist in solving the mystery. This book takes place in New Orleans.  A company is having a team building exercise involving an escape room.  During the time of the game, someone is murdered.  The ex-husband, who helped plan the game, is the main suspect.  This book had some twists and turns in solving this mystery. Robin Caroll is one of my favorite inspirational suspense authors.  I do recommend this book a nd all of her books. I received this book from the publisher through NetGalley for my honest opinion.
“When Through Deep Waters” by Rachelle Dekker is a captivating read!   I was really impressed with her writing style with this book.   She definitely has inherited the gift to write from her father, Ted Dekker. It is hard for me to classify this book in one genre.   I saw psychological suspense along with fantasy.   I also loved how she wove so much of the gospel message and the true nature of God into this book.   I think when an author can take a fiction book and weave the gospel message throughout the book, without being preachy,   that is truly a gifted author. This book follows a woman named Alicen.   Alicen has a tragedy happen in her life.   We watch as Alicen deals with that tragedy and how it affects the other people in her life around her. I would definitely recommend this book.   Rachelle Dekker is an author you don’t want to miss.   I read all her others books and loved them! I received this book from the pu...
“Delayed Justice” by Cara Putman was a great read.   This is Book 3 of the Justice series.   Some of the characters from the first two books were mentioned in this book, but you don’t have to read the first two books to understand what’s going on in this book. This book follows attorney Jaime Nichols.   This book follows the subject of child abuse, specifically sexual in nature.   The author did a great job of explaining how devastating this could be, yet she didn’t go into the specifics.   I love how all three of these books stress the importance of a great support system, specifically really great friends.   I also loved the way she had the gospel message in the story, but it wasn’t preaching at all.   I loved the first 2 books in this series and this one didn’t disappoint, either.   Cara Putman always makes me feel as if I am a character in her books.   She is one of my favorite authors and one I highly recommend often. I rece...
