“Deadly Intentions” by Lisa Harris was an excellent read!   This book had my attention from the first page until the last.   I’m not sure how she does it, but Lisa draws you into a book from the very beginning.   I’ve found this with her other books, and this one is no exception. This book follows research scientist Caitlyn Lindsey.   There have been suspicious deaths with some of her colleagues, and she is convinced that their deaths are all related to work.   She teams up with Josh Solomon.   Josh’s wife had also worked with Caitlyn and died about a year ago in a suspicious death.   Together, they try to solve this mystery.   This ends up becoming more complicated than what I thought it would.   There were twists and turns in this story, and there were times when I was honestly wondering how this would turn out.   I definitely recommend this book to anyone that enjoys good, clean romantic suspense.   It’s so refres...
“The String” by Caleb Breakey was an intense read!   I read that this book was in the great suspense tradition of Ted Dekker and Steven James.   That is exactly true!   I have read books by both of those authors, and this book reminded me a lot of those other books.   In other words, I really enjoyed this read.   I couldn’t wait to see who was controlling “The String”, and I had no idea who it was. I loved the way this book wasn’t like the typical suspense I usually read.   There is a madman/woman who calls himself The Conductor.   He sends really disturbing threats and tries to get others to do what he wants them to.   He calls it controlling “The String”.   It is a race against the clock to try to find out who he/she is and stop them! I definitely recommend this book to anyone that enjoys a good, clean, thriller.   I don’t think you will be disappointed. I received this book from the publisher for my honest opinio...
“The Killing Tide” is another great read by Dani Pettrey!   I have loved all of her books, and this one was no different.   I was hooked from the first page to the last page.   This book had a lot of suspense and some romance thrown in along the way.   This book follows Gabby and Finn.   Gabby is an investigative reporter and she is put on temporary leave from her work because of an evil man who could be coming after her.   Therefore, she goes back home to be protected by Noah (her Coast Guard brother) and Finn (her ex-boyfriend Coast Guard).   There is another mystery going on while Gabby is there.    I love how Dani is able to capture this romantic tension with them, yet she keeps everything clean.   My favorite quote is:   “He was drawn to her like the tides were to the moon.”   How romantic is this? I highly recommend this book to everyone out there who enjoys romantic suspense books.   This book won’t dis...
