"Finding Beautiful" by Rebecca Friedlander was a great book!  This book was very inspiring to me.  I loved all the stories that she shared.  Rebecca has this book divided into 12 different chapters.  Each chapter shows a different woman and how God got ahold of their lives and what a difference they have made for God!  I loved how all of these women were from different walks of lives and different areas, yet they share a common theme....how God has used their lives for Him!  Rebecca is a photographer/filmmaker so she did a before and after photo shoot with each woman.  Each chapter shares how she did the photo shoots.  Then she shares some of her story and also a story in the Bible that relates to that particular woman's life.  This book definitely inspired me to live my life more for God and what He could do in my life. I definitely recommend this book to every woman out there!  I received this book from Baker Books for my honest opin...
“Glorious Weakness” by Alia Joy is a memoir of her life.   This author has experienced so much in her lifetime, much more than we could ever have imagined.   She doubted through those times whether God was good or if He was ever with her.   She found out that yes, he was there with her the whole time. The book is divided into four different sections.   They are: weakness, hope, strength and glory.   Each section goes into each subject a little deeper.   Even though this book had sad parts in it when she described her life and what she went through, this book wasn’t a downer.   Alia offered hope for all us, even in our darkest moments. I received this book from Baker Books for my honest opinion.
“Loving My Actual Neighbor” by Alexandra Kuykendall was a great read!   This book held lots of tidbits of information that opened my eyes.   Sometimes we know what to do to reach out to our “neighbor”, but we still need to be reminded of some things. Alexandra Kuykendall uses 2 Peter 1 to show some principles that we need to practice for loving our neighbor.   These are things that Jesus commanded us.   I love the way she wrote this in such a practical and easy to understand way.   She shares seven principles to use. I recommend this book to everyone.   It’s something that all of us Christians need to be practicing more and more. I received this book from Baker Books for my honest opinion.
