“The String” by Caleb Breakey was an intense read!  I read that this book was in the great suspense tradition of Ted Dekker and Steven James.  That is exactly true!  I have read books by both of those authors, and this book reminded me a lot of those other books.  In other words, I really enjoyed this read.  I couldn’t wait to see who was controlling “The String”, and I had no idea who it was.



I loved the way this book wasn’t like the typical suspense I usually read.  There is a madman/woman who calls himself The Conductor.  He sends really disturbing threats and tries to get others to do what he wants them to.  He calls it controlling “The String”.  It is a race against the clock to try to find out who he/she is and stop them!



I definitely recommend this book to anyone that enjoys a good, clean, thriller.  I don’t think you will be disappointed.

Novel Threat by Traci Hunter Abramson

 I really enjoyed this book by Traci Abramson.  I believe this is my favorite by Traci Abramson.  The chemistry between Brandon and Kimber was wonderful!  This book kept me guessing until the very end.  It had so many twists and turns throughout it.  I had a hard time putting this book down.  I highly recommend this book.   “Hide and Seek” by Christy Barritt was a fantastic start to the Lantern Beach Guardians series.   It was so great to revisit Police Chief Cassidy Chambers.   She has become a favorite of mine in some of Christy Barritt’s other novels.   This book starts off with a huge mystery.   A young girl is found on the beach and to make matters worse, she can’t speak!   So Cassidy, along with her husband Ty, and her police force are trying to figure out the mystery.   This mystery really had me dumbfounded.   I had no idea what the ending was going to be. I have never read a Christy Barritt book that I haven’t loved.   I highly recommend all her books.   Her books are full of suspense and mystery, yet are extremely clean. I received this book from the author for my honest opinion.
