“The Curse of Misty Wayfair” by Jaime Jo Wright is a time-travel novel.  This book jumps back and forth between something that happened back in 1908 to modern day.  Thea Reed is the character from long ago.  She is a photographer who is trying to find her mother.  Heidi Lane is the modern day character.  Heidi comes back because her mother, who has dementia, sends her a letter to come back to town.  Heidi finds some interesting connections with her and Thea.



Truthfully, I had a hard time getting into this book.  I have read Jaime Jo Wright’s other books and loved them.  But for some reason, this one was a little harder to get into.

Novel Threat by Traci Hunter Abramson

 I really enjoyed this book by Traci Abramson.  I believe this is my favorite by Traci Abramson.  The chemistry between Brandon and Kimber was wonderful!  This book kept me guessing until the very end.  It had so many twists and turns throughout it.  I had a hard time putting this book down.  I highly recommend this book.   “Hide and Seek” by Christy Barritt was a fantastic start to the Lantern Beach Guardians series.   It was so great to revisit Police Chief Cassidy Chambers.   She has become a favorite of mine in some of Christy Barritt’s other novels.   This book starts off with a huge mystery.   A young girl is found on the beach and to make matters worse, she can’t speak!   So Cassidy, along with her husband Ty, and her police force are trying to figure out the mystery.   This mystery really had me dumbfounded.   I had no idea what the ending was going to be. I have never read a Christy Barritt book that I haven’t loved.   I highly recommend all her books.   Her books are full of suspense and mystery, yet are extremely clean. I received this book from the author for my honest opinion.
