This
book was life changing! In “Enough” by
Sharon Jaynes, Sharon does such a great job of taking the lies that we women
believe and showing us how these aren’t true.
They are just lies that Satan tells us, day in and day out.
A
lot of us women are so bogged down with taking care of everyone and everything
that we sometimes feel like we just aren’t good enough. This book is the answer to conquering those
feelings. Sharon uses real life examples
and scripture to point us to God, who sees all of us as “enough”.
There
were so many places that I highlighted in this book. I think my favorite quote was, “God doesn’t
call us because we are particularly gifted or talented. He uses us because we are obedient and
dependent on Him. He doesn’t call the
qualified. He qualifies the
called.” I love this! This really spoke to me. I feel like God is calling me to do
something, but it’s so far out of my comfort zone, that I keep ignoring the
nudge. This reminded me that it’s not in
my hands. It’s in God’s! This is freeing to me.
I
would definitely recommend this book to every woman out there. You won’t be disappointed.
