I thoroughly enjoyed “Searching for Spring” by Christine Hoover.  I love how creative Christine is and how she shows us how beauty is all around us.  So many times, especially when we are going through hard times, we focus on the negative and the “ugliness” of life.  Christine shows us how God is always with us and even in the hard times of life, beauty can come out of it.  I’ve seen in my own life where some of the most beautiful moments came out of the hardest and toughest things I’ve ever dealt with. 



One of my favorite quotes in this book is “Beauty is not immediate.  It often unveils itself slowly, through much waiting, much seeking, and sometimes much heartache.” (p. 21)  I have experienced this, but I needed some reminding.



I definitely recommend this book to every woman out there.  We women have so much to do and get so busy with life that we tend to ignore the beauty out there.  This book is a great reminder not to do that!

Novel Threat by Traci Hunter Abramson

 I really enjoyed this book by Traci Abramson.  I believe this is my favorite by Traci Abramson.  The chemistry between Brandon and Kimber was wonderful!  This book kept me guessing until the very end.  It had so many twists and turns throughout it.  I had a hard time putting this book down.  I highly recommend this book.   “Hide and Seek” by Christy Barritt was a fantastic start to the Lantern Beach Guardians series.   It was so great to revisit Police Chief Cassidy Chambers.   She has become a favorite of mine in some of Christy Barritt’s other novels.   This book starts off with a huge mystery.   A young girl is found on the beach and to make matters worse, she can’t speak!   So Cassidy, along with her husband Ty, and her police force are trying to figure out the mystery.   This mystery really had me dumbfounded.   I had no idea what the ending was going to be. I have never read a Christy Barritt book that I haven’t loved.   I highly recommend all her books.   Her books are full of suspense and mystery, yet are extremely clean. I received this book from the author for my honest opinion.
