Lynette Eason has done it again! There’s a reason why she is one of my favorite authors. Her books hook me from the very first page and continue to until the very last page!
This is Book Two in the “Elite Guardians” series. I did read Book One, but you can pick up with this book and not be lost. This book follows Katie Singleton. She is a member of the Elite Guardians Protection Agency. Her assignment happens by accident. She is out one night and notices something going on. She stops by to investigate and notices that Daniel Matthews, a restaurant owner, is being targeted by someone to put him out of business. More threats follow Daniel, and Katie is hired to be his bodyguard. This book has twists and turns throughout the way. There is also some romance thrown in.
If you enjoy inspirational romantic suspense novels, then you will love this novel. Lynette Eason is such a great writer, and she won’t disappoint you. I have read every one of her books, and I will continue to do so. I highly recommend this novel!
