WHAT MATTERS MOST

by Kellie Coates Gilbert

“What Matters Most” by Kellie Coates Gilbert is the fourth book in the Texas Gold Series.  You don’t have to read the first three books before reading this book. This is the first book I’ve read by Kellie Coates Gilbert.  I was very impressed with her writing, and I will continue to read more books by her.  It had me hooked from the first page!

Leta Breckenridge had to quit school to take care of her mother who is suffering from dementia.  Leta is trying to make ends meet by holding down two jobs.  When Leta is told by the facility taking care of her mother that her account is delinquent, Leta must try to find a better paying job.  She ends up finding a job working at a public relations firm.  This job is almost too good to be true, and she finds that may just be the case.  She finds some of the research she has done for this job may be used against the man she is falling in love with.  She has some tough decisions that she has to make.

I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who likes a good, clean romance book with a little adventure.  I am looking forward to reading more books by Kellie Coates Gilbert.  I received this book from Revell Reads for my honest opinion.
