“Nothing to Prove” by Jennie Allen changed my life!  I am a first born, performance-driven person.  And it is exhausting to live this way!  This book showed me how I need to stop living this way.  It’s not about my performance for God, but about me doing things with God!  This sure does take the pressure off of me!  This book came at the right time for me.  

I have highlighted so many parts of this book.  One of my favorite quotes in the book is, “Because God is enough and has enough, we can rest.”  What reassuring words!  I don’t have to keep striving and performing.  God accepts us as we are.

Jennie Allen is such a talented author.  She writes in a way that makes you feel like she is sitting across from you.  I highly recommend this book.  I don’t think you will be disappointed.

Novel Threat by Traci Hunter Abramson

 I really enjoyed this book by Traci Abramson.  I believe this is my favorite by Traci Abramson.  The chemistry between Brandon and Kimber was wonderful!  This book kept me guessing until the very end.  It had so many twists and turns throughout it.  I had a hard time putting this book down.  I highly recommend this book.   “Hide and Seek” by Christy Barritt was a fantastic start to the Lantern Beach Guardians series.   It was so great to revisit Police Chief Cassidy Chambers.   She has become a favorite of mine in some of Christy Barritt’s other novels.   This book starts off with a huge mystery.   A young girl is found on the beach and to make matters worse, she can’t speak!   So Cassidy, along with her husband Ty, and her police force are trying to figure out the mystery.   This mystery really had me dumbfounded.   I had no idea what the ending was going to be. I have never read a Christy Barritt book that I haven’t loved.   I highly recommend all her books.   Her books are full of suspense and mystery, yet are extremely clean. I received this book from the author for my honest opinion.
