MISSING

I loved this book!  It had me hooked from the very first page.  This is the second book in the Nikki Boyd Files series, but you don’t have to read the first book to understand this one.  However, if you want to learn more about Nikki Boyd and her history of losing her sister, Vendetta, book one, will go into more detail about this. Lisa Harris is one of my favorite authors, and she has not disappointed me this time, either.

This book follows Nikki Boyd.  Her specialty is finding missing people.  This case involves two murdered victims and two missing people.  The first clue leads her to her very close friend, Tyler’s, boat.  She must figure out what his boat has to do with the missing people.  This leads her on a never ending adventure.  There was also a little bit of romance tucked away.


I would definitely recommend this book.  Lisa Harris has a way of pulling you into her books from the very first page.   I am always disappointed when they end!  I can’t wait to read the third book in the series.  I received this book from Revell Reads for my honest opinion.

Novel Threat by Traci Hunter Abramson

  “Hide and Seek” by Christy Barritt was a fantastic start to the Lantern Beach Guardians series.   It was so great to revisit Police Chief Cassidy Chambers.   She has become a favorite of mine in some of Christy Barritt’s other novels.   This book starts off with a huge mystery.   A young girl is found on the beach and to make matters worse, she can’t speak!   So Cassidy, along with her husband Ty, and her police force are trying to figure out the mystery.   This mystery really had me dumbfounded.   I had no idea what the ending was going to be. I have never read a Christy Barritt book that I haven’t loved.   I highly recommend all her books.   Her books are full of suspense and mystery, yet are extremely clean. I received this book from the author for my honest opinion.
