“Praying with Eyes Wide Open” by Sherry Harney is a wonderful book which goes deeper into the subject of prayer.  This book really was an eye opener (no pun intended) for me!  I was always taught to  pray with my eyes closed.  Sherry Haney shows how important prayer is and why it is important to pray with our eyes open.  This makes it very easy to pray at all times, which is something we all should be doing! The book is divided into 4 sections.  The sections include Praying with Eyes Wide Open, Praying with Ears Wide Open, Praying with Hearts Wide Open and Praying with Lives Wide Open.  Sherry shares true stories about her own prayer life in each chapter.  I got a lot more out of this book than what I intended to.  I would definitely recommend this book to anyone that would like to strengthen their prayer life.  I received this book from Baker Books for my honest opinion.

Novel Threat by Traci Hunter Abramson

 I really enjoyed this book by Traci Abramson.  I believe this is my favorite by Traci Abramson.  The chemistry between Brandon and Kimber was wonderful!  This book kept me guessing until the very end.  It had so many twists and turns throughout it.  I had a hard time putting this book down.  I highly recommend this book.   “Hide and Seek” by Christy Barritt was a fantastic start to the Lantern Beach Guardians series.   It was so great to revisit Police Chief Cassidy Chambers.   She has become a favorite of mine in some of Christy Barritt’s other novels.   This book starts off with a huge mystery.   A young girl is found on the beach and to make matters worse, she can’t speak!   So Cassidy, along with her husband Ty, and her police force are trying to figure out the mystery.   This mystery really had me dumbfounded.   I had no idea what the ending was going to be. I have never read a Christy Barritt book that I haven’t loved.   I highly recommend all her books.   Her books are full of suspense and mystery, yet are extremely clean. I received this book from the author for my honest opinion.
