“In the Shadow of Denali” by Tracie Peterson is a historical romantic suspense novel. Even though this isn’t the normal genre that I read, it caught my attention from the first to the last page. I was very impressed by the writing style of Tracie Peterson and Kimberley Woodhouse.
This novel follows Cassidy Ivanoff and her father, John. They both work for the Curry Hotel in Alaska. Cassidy works in the kitchen and John is a tour guide. There is an accident that had taken place years earlier. Now Allan Brennan, the son of the man who died during the accident, comes back to Alaska. He is trying to find out what really happened to his father. The more you read, the more you find out major details that really happened.
If you enjoy historical romantic suspense, you will love this novel. Even if you don’t enjoy the historical genre, you will still love this.
