BELOVED MESS

Kimm Crandall writes of life examples and stories of others about how life is messy.  Though there were some parts of this book that I didn’t agree with, most of it I did agree with.  For so many of us, we try to portray that we have it all together.  But, underneath all of this, we really don’t!   Our lives are messy.  God does love us right where we are.  We don’t have to clean up our messes before God will accept us.  He is right there to accept us, mess and all.

Kimm Crandall encourages readers to accept that God loves us right where we are.  She also encourages readers to not try to make the Christian life all about following rules.  As a rule follower myself, I identified with this a lot!  Sometimes we need to be reminded of this!  She also talks about the grace and mercy of God.  This is a topic that I love to read about and be reminded of.  I love reading about God’s grace and mercy!

Novel Threat by Traci Hunter Abramson

 I really enjoyed this book by Traci Abramson.  I believe this is my favorite by Traci Abramson.  The chemistry between Brandon and Kimber was wonderful!  This book kept me guessing until the very end.  It had so many twists and turns throughout it.  I had a hard time putting this book down.  I highly recommend this book.   “Hide and Seek” by Christy Barritt was a fantastic start to the Lantern Beach Guardians series.   It was so great to revisit Police Chief Cassidy Chambers.   She has become a favorite of mine in some of Christy Barritt’s other novels.   This book starts off with a huge mystery.   A young girl is found on the beach and to make matters worse, she can’t speak!   So Cassidy, along with her husband Ty, and her police force are trying to figure out the mystery.   This mystery really had me dumbfounded.   I had no idea what the ending was going to be. I have never read a Christy Barritt book that I haven’t loved.   I highly recommend all her books.   Her books are full of suspense and mystery, yet are extremely clean. I received this book from the author for my honest opinion.
